I read/hear all these people making comparisons with AC/DC circa 1981. The thing is alot of bands in Australia had that thing in the 70s. Buffalo, Carson and Colored Balls had the attitude. AC/DC also sounded alot like a little known Scottish band - Tear Gas.

Anyway alot of the Aussie hard rock gods from the 70s are falling off the perch Thorpie, Mick Cocks Lobby Loyde. I reckon Airbourne should get a guest appearance from one of them before they are all gone. Maybe Kevin Borich or Rockn Rob Riley??

Also maybe do a cover of some little known aussie hard rock song like Devil Disciples or Hush Get The Feeling- that would be a good one actually. Joel could pull that off and the band make it 10X heavier. Also its real catchy.

Dude I first heard Airbourne's song runnin wild in madden nfl 08 the video game and i thought man these guys are great so i searched for more of their songs and found them all i have 3 of their complete albums runnin wild, ready to rock, and no guts no glory and all i can say about the band is WOW i have every AC/DC, Aerosmith, Led Zepplin, and Metallica album and god willing all of airbourne's this band is one of the best rock N roll bands to come out in a long time glad to see that they are keeping it alive keep rockin guys you're the best

To tell you the truth.... if people say they sound like AC/DC doesn't matter a thing to me... In fact alot of bands now a days should learn from airbourne. When I say i have found a good band they have to be good and Airbourne have done exactly that. I searched, and searched for a LONG time for a good band and FINALLY there is a breath of fresh air ;)...

I'm a huge AC/DC fan and also since discovering Airbourne in 2008 have grown to be a big fan of theirs as well. I have seen AC/DC live about 20 times since 1885 and Airbourne live 5 times. In my opinion they don't sound like AC/DC. Pissis me off when everyone says they are a copy. They just crank it up and let it go, which is what rock n roll is all about. If its said that Airbourne are a DC copy then you can say that about another 100 bands out there today.

@BIGJACK: I agree 100% I was fortunate enough to see AC/DC and Airbourne once live it definitely makes me want to see the live again... The thing with bands today... it seems like they don't give it their (all) know what im saying. Its like wasted talent, like they are (only) doing it for the money and not for the music. Bands back in the day clearly cared about the quality of the music... Seems like nowadays noone cares....
