I am a 43 yr old man and I was introduced to Airbourne by a mate who is 46 ..... I was wondering what all these young rocksters think of the coin being flipped and us oldies hi-jacking their new rock music as I have taken the piss out of my kids because all they do is listen to all my old records. I do think Airbourne are the best thing to hit the music scene for a long time maybe even a generation. And yes I do hear all the Classic good old rock and roll riffs and AC/DC styles too ......... BUT ..... Airbourne have taken these styles and added a new rawness to them and kids sorry , but us oldies are seriously enjoying your new band hahahahahahaha ..........................LONG MAY AIRBOURNE RATTLE THE FOUNDATIONS OF GOOD OLD FASHIONED ROCK'N'ROLL

Guys,

You are NEVER too old to enjoy superb music - even rock and metal - so keep on rockin'. Airbourne have re-energised the whole scene so just enjoy them as they become HUGE.

PS I am 52 !!!!!

Ha ha! I`m 38 and still rocking and playing drums hard! I had a conversation with a complete stranger the other day. I reccomended Airbourne to him as he was a rocker and a biker. He smiled and said he loves them! Turns out we`d been at the same gig about 10 feet away from each other!

Yeah, gotta laugh at alot of the music that gets played on radio and at nightclubs these days. Computer generated space music that in my opinion runs parralell with drug use because you need to be off your face to enjoy it. i.e. Lets go to a rave and flip out on pills to a space DJ. All this trance and whatever else they call it. One hit wonders, bands that use turntables and have the EMO haircuts. I suppose it's a reflection on society now with all the gays getting a go. Although I love Australia, I've got to say that the music industry over here is seems to be run by soft cocks. They program kids at a young age to keep buying there junk music. I personally shake my head in disgust. Airbourne is having major success overseas and they weren't played on Australian radio until very recently. Just goes to show ay. I'd rather be a bit older and a X generation, than a confused half gay pill poppin techno loving Y generation.
